Notes
A work of fiction written by Lucien Allina and published by the Reader's Library, which became the basis for Rene Clair's 1931 film 'A Nous la Liberte'. Clair was an early exponent of French film comedy, and this comedy musical was said to have influenced Charlie Chaplin's 'Modern Times'.
