Includes sets of slides 'arranged by the Visual Instruction Committee of the Colonial Office, and now added to, and kept up to date by the Imperial Studies Committee of the Royal Colonial Institute.' Many of the slide sets are arranged thematically: The Italian Lakes in Spring, Pompeii Past and Present, for example. Others are accompanied by printed lectures for the teacher's use.
