Research Data Management Survival Guide for New PhD Students

A guide to effective research data management (RDM) for new PhD researchers produced by six PGRs working with the Open Exeter project. Although often ignored the appropriate management, dissemination and archiving of data is of crucial importance to the success of research. This guide outlines the main points of successful RDM, as well as listing some useful links to wider sources and additional information. Please use version four of this guide as it supersedes the previous versions.
