dc.description.abstractWe study Eisenstein series Ek with k ≥ 3 odd. These are not modular forms and Ek(−1/τ)− τkE2(τ) does not vanish identically. We obtain an explicit formula for the limit of Ek(−1/τ)− τkE2(τ) as τ approaches a positive rational number, generalizing recent work of Kurokawa.en_GB
