dc.description.abstractDiversity and Distributions, which was founded as Biodiversity Letters in 1993, is a leading journal in the Web of Science (WOS) categories of Ecology and Biodiversity Conservation. In this editorial, we want to address the revised scope of the journal, the impact of the Open Access transition and associated waiver policy on the journal progress, and the recently established data accessibility policy.en_GB
