Atomically thin transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDC) are a class of materials with chemical structure MX2 composed of one atom from a transition metal (M) and two atoms (X) of the chalcogen group (group VI of periodic table) that have seen intense study in recent years due to the relevant optical properties. In this work I develop non-perturbative models to investigate nonlinear optical properties of given class of materials.en_GB
