This is an R code and the data to completely re-create the analysis for Fisher et al. "Comparing pre- and post-copulatory mate competition using social network analysis in wild crickets", published in Behavioral Ecology and available in ORE via: http://hdl.handle.net/10871/24515
There is a single text file ("M-M networks All analyses") which is an annotated R script. There are then two zipped folders, "m-m nets 2006 data" and "m-m nets 2013 data" which each contain 9 text files. Each of these 18 data files are used at different points by the R script.
It is recommended that both zipped folders are completely unpacked, and the files placed in the R directory of the user. Working through the code should then produce the exact results in the paper. R packages such a tnet and sna will need to be downloaded by the user.
Note the code is annotated, but it may not be completely understandable to those who have little working knowledge of R. While running all the lines will result in the same numbers, it would be better for those new to R to try to understand what each step does when moving through the script.
