dc.description.abstractIn this leading article, we report on the first area-based linkage in England between mental health, hospital and school data, covering a total population of 1.25 million. We describe this resource, give examples of how it is being used to improve public services for children, and discuss what is needed to implement this approach more widely across the UK.en_GB
