Extreme wave load is one of main causes of structure failure. A vertical perforated wall that mounted in front of a structure might have effect of wave load mitigation. In this paper, the wave load mitigation effect of perforated wall is analyzed by CFD method. The numerical model is based on Navier-Stokes equations for viscosity flow, the coupled VOF and level set method is used to trace the motion of the free surface of water. The influences of the perforation ratio and the gap width between the perforated wall and the main structure are analyzed.
