The discrete-time positive real lemma is examined and the assumptions of controllability and observability are removed. An intermediate theorem is proved that removes only the assumption of controllability. This work is intended to be the counterpart - and is inspired by - recent work on the continuous-time positive real lemma, and does not assume asymptotic stability unlike the recent results of Ferrante and Ntogramatzidis (2017).

System-level modelling and validation of a strain energy harvesting system by directly coupling finite element and electrical circuits
Li, Qiang; Kuang, Yang; Zhu, Meiling (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), 2016)— There is a lack of system-level finite element (FE) model which can directly predict the performance of a piezoelectric energy harvester connected with interface circuits and electric load. This work developed a ... -
Decision Support System for Metabolism based Transition to Urban Water Systems of Tomorrow
Morley, Mark; Behzadian, Kourosh; Kapelan, Zoran; et al. (IWA Publishing, 17 November 2015)A decision support system (DSS) tool for the assessment of intervention strategies (Alternatives) in an urban water system (UWS) with an integral simulation model called ‘WaterMet2’ is presented.
