dc.description.abstract | I am delighted for the opportunity offered by HDSR to have a wide-ranging conversation over the role of data science in the COVID-19 pandemic, and I am grateful to all the discussants for their generous comments and insightful expansions on my original piece. In what follows, I identify and discuss four key topics that emerged from this conversation, with the aim to prompt further dialogue on the use of data science to tackle the pandemic as well as on the future of data science and its role in society beyond the current crisis. | en_GB |
