| dc.description.abstract | The objective of this essay is to analyze the limits and
ethical problems underlying the process of
medicalization of psychedelics, the paradoxes found in
psychedelic psychotherapy are also analyzed, as well
as the institutional powers that have led psychedelics to
the verge of becoming a very lucrative industry. In
order to carry out this analysis, we have taken into
account the Critical Theory proposal developed by the
Frankfurt School, as well as the philosophical proposal
