Abstract
We show that for an odd prime p, the p-primary parts of refinements of the (imprimitive) non-abelian Brumer and Brumer-Stark conjectures are implied by the equivariant Iwasawa main conjecture (EIMC) for totally real fields. Crucially, this result does not depend on the vanishing of the relevant Iwasawa mu-invariant. In combination with ...
In combination with the authors' previous work on the EIMC, this leads to unconditional proofs of the non-abelian Brumer and Brumer-Stark conjectures in many new cases.

A refined version of Grothendieck's birational anabelian conjecture for curves over finite fields
Saidi, Mohamed; Tamagawa, A (Elsevier / Academic Press, 17 March 2017)In this paper we prove a refined version of Uchida’s theorem on isomorphisms between absolute Galois groups of global fields in positive characteristics, where one “ignores” the information provided by a “small” set of primes. -

Saidi, M (Cambridge University Press (CUP), 1 January 2012)We mostly survey recent results (including those of the author) on the Grothendieck anabelian section conjecture -
A refined version of Grothendieck's anabelian conjecture for hyperbolic curves over finite fields
Saidi, M; Tamagawa, A (American Mathematical Society, 29 March 2018)In this paper we prove a refined version of a theorem by Tamagawa and Mochizuki on isomorphisms between (tame) arithmetic fundamental groups of hyperbolic curves over finite fields, where one “ignores” the information ...
