In the past decade the harmonization of European private law and more specifically of European contract law has been on the top of the European institutions’ list of priorities. With the growing importance of the tourism market in the European Union, we could expect that at least some of the harmonization effort in European Private Law would be directed at improving passenger transport services’ regulation. However, the main harmonization projects of the last few years have not or have barely addressed this issue.en_GB
